My Story - Sherrill

I have always wanted to be a travel agent.   With the boom of the internet I was able to start booking my own travel.  After three mishaps with suppliers online where I lost my vacations and my money - I decided there has to be a better way for people to get vacation service.  After each mishap, I went to a local travel agent who was able to fix the problem and get me on my way.  After three times I wondered why I didn't just go to the travel agent to start with and save myself grief and lost money.  Even though the agent was able to get me where I wanted to go for a little more cost the time I saved with them handling everything and being secure in my trip was worth more to me than what I thought I was saving my doing it myself on the internet.   I was actually losing money by booking online in the first place when I wasn't able to get a return on my money or time that I had taken to research and book.  I went back to college and received my Travel Agent certification, signed on with a host agency and learned the tips and tricks to getting the best and most secure travel for my money.  People work hard for their money and can't afford in this day and age to just throw away $10 let alone the amazing cost for a family getaway that could upwards of $1000 per person.  When you book online you are going with someone you have no connection with and usually don't have your best interest at heart.   I do it for the love of trying to make this a better world and that people should be able to travel stressfree.  Afterall, isn't that what vacation is all about?  I don't accept every customer that calls.  We have a list of suppliers that come highly recommended and are bonded so I know when I use them, they will be there to the very end.  We have developed a relationship with these guys and take no chances with my clients getting a bad deal.  We prefer to have clients that have been recommended from other clients because a recommendation is the highest form of approval that you can get.    

Hope Hargrove

Hope agreed to be one of my travel agents in late May 2018.  She has traveled extensively to the Mexican region of the Yucatan Penisula and is well versed in all-inclusive destinations in the Caribbean as well as traveled on the high seas on the local cruise lines.  If you are thinking of a girls getaway or a honeymoon destination or any other vacation that would include a stay in an All-Inclusive resort - Hope is your girl.  She has been very responsive in learning the trade and I have much confidence in her abilities to prepare a memorable trip for all.  She is a natural learner and has proven her ability to expand her professionalism by taking the initiative to learn about other parts of the world and taking deep dives into the supplier systems to make sure she uses every resource to her advantage and to the advantage of her clients.  

Stormi Brown

Stormi has returned to the travel agent world after taking a hiatus during the covid pause.  Her love of travel started with a cruise to Alaska with some of her closest friends.  No sooner did she embark that ship, that she absolutely fell in love with cruising.  Her goal is to take a back to back to back cruise sometime in her life.  She began her travel agent career in late 2013 and has sold the agency's largest group cruise to date.  She has grown her travel knowledge through the use of numerous personal trips, ship inspections, conferences, trade shows and supplier showcase training offerings.  She is the epitome of fairness and would love to be the person to put together your trip of a lifetime and provide you with memories that will live long after you return home.  

Aurora Wold-Krogmann

Aurora may be new to the agency but is no stranger to travel.  She hails from Lima, Peru and teaches Spanish at Temple Jr College in Taylor, Texas.  She is married (sorry guys) to Micheal and has a beautiful daughter, Dulcinea, who is the light of her life.  She is passionate about travel and has embraced this new career by absorbing the learning modules for all of our most prominent suppliers.  She has a spice for life and you can get to know her by stopping by her FB page (1) Facebook  and seeing her personality all over it.  She believes a childs education is not only found in the traditional classroom but also in the world classroom.  Her daughter is living proof of this.  Sometimes I live vicariously through her adventures by following her (on FB) to help expand my knowledge of the places that need to be seen or that are on my bucket list.   I am excited to add her to my team and I hope you will reach out to her when you are ready to see the world.

Brittany Beckendorf

I am so excited to have Brittany back on my team.  Brittany arrived on the travel agent scene in 2021 when I owned ETX Travel.  When I opened my new agency 2 World Travels, Brittany reached out to see if she could come with me and I was enthusiastic about having her with me.  She took quickly to being a travel agent and found her niche in Disney.   Brittany lives and breathes Disney and I can honestly say, I didn't think anyone could out-Disney me, but I think this girl has surpassed even my knowledge.   Brittany is married to the love of her life, Ryan, and they have 3 amazing young sons who keep her hopping.  She was actually assisting her friends and families with their vacation planning long before becoming an actual agent.  It was serendipitous when I was searching for new talent and asked several past clients if they would like to become agents but they all recommended Brittany as a better choice.  I had not met this young lady but was intrigued by their acknowledgements and decided to see if this was an interest to her and the rest became history.  Welcome back Brittany.

Tiffany Ellis

True to form, I met Tiffany first as one of my clients.  She possessed a personality that led me to believe she would make an excellent addition to my team.  She has a great sense of humor and after meeting her children and husband Adam, I can see where she needs it.  Her children Ayden, Austyn and Skyler are such a joy to be around and they are one of the reasons I jumped at having Tiffany with me.  The kids are respectful, full of energy and just fun.  Watching Tiffany plan her trips with the kids throwing in their 2 cents let me know,  she had the organizational skills and was detailed oriented and never missed a beat.  She researched each piece of every trip and asked questions, which let me know I made no mistake adding her to 2 World Travels.  You won't be sorry if you allow Tiffany to help plan your dream destination.  She jumped in with both feet and is raring to go.  So very glad to have you with me Ms. Tiffany Ellis.  

Deborah Blackmore

Another satisfied client is now becoming an agent.  I think if Deborah could find a way to live on a cruise ship and get paid for it, she would be gone in a second, but the next best thing for her is helping people get on that cruise ship and enjoy everything it has to offer.  With years of traveling the high seas, she is capable to finding the right cruise for you.  With retirement on the horizon, she is ready to take that next step and put her knowledge of cruising to good use.  With cruising being one of the top ways to travel, adding another experienced cruiser to the staff is an excellent way to take care of the number of cruising clients that reach out to help plan their next trip.  So feel confident when you contact Deborah, that she will do everything in her power to help you with making memories while enjoying those ships.  Help me in welcoming Deborah to 2 World Travels.  

Krystal Schell

I am very excited to introduce Krystal Schell to the family of 2 World Travels.  Krystal hails from Elgin and most of our territory will remember her as Krystal Woolery.   Krystal is enamored with her 2 children Noah and Alyvia.  She has introduced them to the world of travel from a young age.  They have traveled to many points of the planet and been introduced to numerous cultures and styles of travel which makes her an excellent choice to join our staff of agents.  So whether it is Europe, cruising, skiing or loving the US choices such as Las Vegas, NY City, Disney or Hawaii, Krystal will be happy to assist you with your dream vacation.
